HOW THE Pro-Am WORKS Compete Coinciding with weekly professional tour events; PlayerLink will conduct Special Pro-Am tournaments. Imagine enjoying a golf tournament on TV, while at the same time, being able to literally compete against other golfers who have made their selection as to who will emerge as the winners. Pick your Team Here is all you have to do. Pick three professionals from the pull down list on the tournament entry form. This requires skills - which pros are hottest, which pros are more likely to play well based upon how their specific game relates to course condition, difficulty, or simply your favorite player. Try to select the order in which the Pros will finish. The complete committed player field will be available by the Friday preceding the tournament each week. If one of the pros you have picked drops out for any reason, he will be replaced automatically. The player at the top of the alternate list will be his replacement. Post your Score Post your lowest round out of your last five (5) rounds. Required Information includes which tees you played, and the name and location of the golf course. Best of all, you pick the course you play. Of course a handicap is mandatory. You may either use a USGA index from your local state association, R&A, Canadian or other recognized golf association, or you can establish a handicap on our PlayerLink site. You receive one (1) point for each dollar your professional wins. A formula is computed to add your score to establish the final results as to how your team places. Win prizes All prizes will be in the form of a gift certificate and sent directly to the pro/golf shop of your choice. The gift certificates range from one hundred up to five hundred dollars.
